What Should an Agricultural Spraying Drone Quotation Include?
Updated October 11, 2026
Before comparing agricultural spraying drone prices, ask for a dated, itemized quotation that identifies the proposed aircraft, configuration, quantities, equipment, support and delivery scope. A headline price or tank capacity alone does not describe the same purchasing package.
This checklist helps farms, spraying contractors and distributors request a complete-aircraft quotation. It is a procurement tool, not a TYI quotation, a universal package specification or a promise of availability.
Start with the requirement and proposed model
Tell the supplier your destination country, intended agricultural application and initial purchasing quantity. Identify a preferred model if you have one. If selection is still open, request a configuration review first and use the agricultural spraying drone selection guide to organize your requirements.
State whether you need liquid spraying, granular spreading or both. Do not assume a spreading module or a navigation option is compatible with, or included in, every spraying package. A model-specific quotation needs an identified proposed configuration and a clear record of unresolved questions.
Browse the agricultural drone range for model references, then ask for written confirmation of the offered version and supply scope.
Use five supply-status labels
Ask the supplier to apply these labels to each relevant quotation line. They describe that quotation version, not standard inclusions across all models.
| Supply status | Meaning for the comparison |
|---|---|
| Included | Explicitly part of the quoted supply scope; any bundled price treatment is stated |
| Optional | Offered separately; confirm selection and whether its amount is counted in this version |
| Buyer-supplied | The buyer provides it; compatibility and responsibility still need agreement |
| Excluded | Explicitly outside this supply scope; not merely omitted from the document |
| Not confirmed | The response is missing or unclear; do not assume inclusion or enter a zero cost |
Keep a quotation-line reference or written reply beside each status. If configuration or inclusions change, request an updated quotation rather than comparing a new package against an old total.
Request an itemized supplier response
For each line below, request the offered model or version, quantity, supply status, selected-option status where relevant, amount and currency, and a quotation reference. A bundled line can refer to the package amount instead of inventing a separate price.
| Quotation line | Information to request |
|---|---|
| Aircraft | Exact model/version, assembly state and purchasing quantity |
| Liquid spraying system | Identified configuration and included components |
| Remote controller | Model, accessories and software scope |
| Flight batteries | Compatible model, supplied quantity and required documentation |
| Charging equipment | Charger, adapters/cables and required input supply |
| Navigation or sensing options | Requested function, proposed equipment and compatibility |
| Spreading equipment | Proposed compatible module and installation scope, if requested |
| Spare parts | Model/version or part references and quantities |
| Documentation | Documents requested, documents offered and unresolved availability |
| Training and support | Format, subjects, language, responsibility and limits |
| Packing and delivery | Packing, delivery basis, named destination and responsibilities |
| Commercial terms | Currency, quote validity, payment terms and stated delivery assumptions |
For a buyer-supplied battery, charger or other component, request the compatibility requirements and responsible party. This is a purchasing check, not charging, wiring or repair instructions.
Keep spare parts model-specific. The agricultural drone spare-parts guide explains identification and support questions; this quotation sheet records only the agreed items and terms. Ask for warranty coverage, exclusions and claim procedures in writing rather than assuming one period covers every component.
Compare equivalent scope before totals
Check that each response addresses the same application, proposed configuration, aircraft quantity and selected options. Then compare the currency, quote date and validity, payment terms, delivery basis and named place, included or excluded charges, documents and support.
If freight, taxes, local handling, training or another relevant item is unclear, mark the scope comparison incomplete. A blank amount without an explicit bundled-price reference means unknown, not free. Record whether each relevant amount is counted in the quotation total and whether it is separate or included in an identified bundle. Keep unselected options separate; do not add a bundled item twice. Where currencies differ, retain the original amounts and record any conversion rate and date used for your own comparison.
Track open questions with four fields: question, responsible party, written evidence required and quotation revision affected. In the comparison template's Open question column, use: "Question: [ ]; Owner: [ ]; Evidence needed: [ ]; Affected revision: [ ]". Request clarification before treating an apparent lower total as a lower-cost equivalent package.
A quotation describes the proposed supply scope; confirm the final model, inclusions and commercial terms before ordering. It does not establish permission to import or operate the aircraft. Destination-market and operating requirements need separate checks with the appropriate qualified sources.
Copy a request for quotation
Use this blank template for a supplier discussion. Fill only information relevant to the purchase; a country and general delivery location are enough for the initial scope review. Avoid sending unnecessary personal or confidential information.

Please return an itemized quotation with the proposed model/version,
quantities, currency, validity, commercial terms and delivery scope.
For each relevant item, mark:
Included / Optional / Buyer-supplied / Excluded / Not confirmed.
Identify selected options, bundled amounts, excluded charges,
compatibility questions and documents still requiring confirmation.
State warranty and support terms in writing.
This is a request for scope review and quotation, not an order.
Discuss your complete-aircraft requirement
Share the proposed model, application, country and initial quantity so the configuration and quotation scope can be reviewed. Use the Contact page or email sale06@tjwuav.com. A first message can be short; the checklist supports the later detailed discussion.
An agricultural drone production-line or technical-services project needs a separately defined scope. It is not automatically included in a complete-aircraft RFQ.
Frequently asked questions
What does “Not confirmed” mean in a drone quotation?
The scope or terms are unclear. Request written clarification; do not treat the item as included or assume its cost is zero.
Are optional items included in the total?
Ask which options are selected and counted in that quotation version. Keep unselected options separate, and check for bundled prices before adding line amounts.
Can I compare two drones by tank capacity alone?
No. Compare the proposed configuration, quantity, equipment, support and delivery scope before comparing totals.
Can I request a quotation before choosing a model?
You can request a configuration review first. A model-specific quotation needs a defined proposed configuration and its assumptions.
Does a quotation establish permission to operate in my country?
No. Confirm destination-market and operating requirements separately with the appropriate qualified sources.
Does a complete-aircraft RFQ include a production-line project?
Not automatically. Assembly-line and technical-services work requires a separately defined scope, deliverables and responsibilities.
